Two nights ago, the sensation that is “Jersey Shore” left the airwaves. Though I’m sure that those lovely pieces of humanity will linger in the press a while longer, they will be sorely missed. In commemoration, I will rank the 5 best things about the Shore.
5.”The Problem”–The short lived nickname for Pauly D. The pride that he showed when he heard that name was touching.
4. Glittery T-Shirts–I have never seen so much glitter and sparkle, since I watched an 1980s Miss America pageant.
3. Beating the Beat–Who can forget the fist pump and how the guys felt the need to assault sound with their fists?
2. Snookie–I don’t care if she’s sober, drunk, or just dancing by herself on the boardwalk. She’s an amazingly quaffed, orange piece of woman.
1. The Duck Phone–It’s a phone that quacks. It also gave Snookie a pretty hard time. Anything that shows the ditzy-ness of Snookie is a wonderful thing.
SO LONG JERSEY SHORE!
