I watched the new episodes of The Hills and The City yesterday, and I’m not sure I like the change that has occurred in the shows. The Hills is pretty crap with the addition of Kristen Cavallari. That girl is just too much for me, she’s so fake and full of herself. She’s such a poser for the cameras too. Did anyone else notice how she tries to be “cool” for the cameras? I feel like the whole show has become so… trashy. Like, bartender Stacy suddenly has a little role on the show and is hanging out with Brody and the whole gang? It all just feel more fake than ever.
The City is also a bit different, new faces are showing up and some of the old regulars aren’t on the show anymore. I wonder if Whitney’s close friend Erin is going to be on the show at all anymore. Jay is of course history since Whitney broke it off with him. I definitely didn’t get a good feeling about Roxy, she’s like Cavallari – a showoff for the cameras.
I can’t believe I’m even giving these shows so much attention and thought but I have been following the series for ages and now that it’s so different I feel rather disappointed. Come on MTV, you can do better!
